Spring Fever

I have SPRING FEVER!  I just want to be outside, in the sun, in the dirt… just out. This quarter in school has been especially difficult and the hours of studying are really starting to get to me. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’m on overload at the moment. At total saturation point! I only have one more final to take and I’m done. YES!
So, today I thought I’d give myself a little break. Barb & I took the weedeater and chain saw to McKinney’s to be sharpened and PM’d before using them this year (learning) and made arrangements for the mower to go for a rebuild on Monday. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like to actually be able to just start using equipment this year without having to fix it first. I can’t wait!
We also made a run by Lowe’s. I didn’t buy that much (very proud of my restraint), just some basil, cantaloupes, eggplant and pablano peppers to start indoors. I started some tomatoes, carrots, peas, squash and artichokes a couple of weeks ago. They were doing so well. I had them in the window, but about two nights ago it got much colder than I predicted and I guess the cold came in through the window. Killed ‘em dead! Oh well! There’s time.
